Welcome to EKA
EKA is the Athens Labour Unions Organization. It was founded in 1910 and is the largest second-level trade union organisation in the country.
It is composed of 416 primary member unions representing approximately 295,000 workers in the greater Athens area.
The employees members of unions affiliated to EKA come from sectors of economy of the private sector and the wider public sector.
It is governed by a 31-member Management Board, whose decisions are implemented by the 11-member Executive Committee. Its collective bodies are elected by the Congress every three years.
