"Working on equal terms in Greece" Training
In April, the Migrant Point EKA & Generation 2.0 RED organized and hosted the 30-hour training “Working on equal terms in Greece”, part of the project UnionMigrantNet and Cities Together for Integration which is co-funded by the Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund of the European Union, for people of migrant background seeking equal & documented employment in Greece.
The fast-paced training took place both online and in person and consisted of 2-week group sessions fully devoted to significant topics for anyone looking for employment in Greece, aiming to help develop employability skills (highly appreciated soft skills & Job readiness skills), offer counseling regarding challenges linked to discrimination obstacles, and valid information on the labor, social and trade union rights, along with an introductory navigation into the social entrepreneurship scene but also into Greek citizenship procedure.
